The Story
It began on the northeastern coast of the archipelago — a place where turquoise waters meet fossilized coral limestone, tucked between palm trees in the village of Nungwi.
Walking through local workshops, one artist brought me to a complete stop. A moment of disbelief. The depth, the movement, the life in every brushstroke. I asked, "Did you paint these?" He smiled humbly. "I did."
That was the day I met George Milanzi. Day after day I returned to his workshop, studying his patience, the precision behind every step. And when I left, I told him — one day, I'm coming back for you.
